por Usuário 14196056 do Firefox, há um anoI would filter Facebook ads. That's the primary goal but it's not good for that.
I wonder why none of the ad blockers are effective in filtering out facebok ads. It could be done. Sometimes one or the other filters it out successfully.
Now when I turn on this filter nothing comes in. It filters the whole facebook :-) I would say it's perfect now. :-) But unfortunately the non-advertising part would be nice to see.

Resposta do desenvolvedor
publicado há um anoFor the ads appearing on Facebook, there may not be a whole lot we can do. Facebook has both "sponsored posts" and regular advertisements. However, only the latter are considered actual ads that we can block (and you shouldn't be seeing those). Facebook goes to great lengths to ensure that their sponsored posts remain unblocked, and they have an entire department dedicated to circumventing ad blockers. We're just a tiny team and it's been tough to work against our well-financed opponents. If you are seeing ads aside from Sponsored posts, let us know: help@getadblock.com. -- AdBlock Support

They disguise them as "update" notifications but they are pushing updates every week and if you have the extension on multiple devices it will take over whatever tab you have open and show you that it's updated for the 5th time this month on every single device and conveniently also have an option to donate money.
The annoyance quickly builds up. After being interrupted and having to close a good 20-30 pop ups across all my devices a month, I'm done. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Konstantin, há 23 dias

I understand the need to monetize, but opening a new tab to push a subscription offer feels intrusive. Most people are already overwhelmed with numerous subscriptions and don’t want to add another. This approach undermines the very purpose of using an ad blocker in the first place.
Rethink your marketing efforts, AdBlock. Do better. - Avaliado em 1 de 5por familycanidae, há um mêsUse Ublock Origin. Adblock will open up a spam tab every single day asking you to pay money for their "Premium" service. I was using this app because I DIDN'T WANT popups, lmao.
They're also going to reply to this review stating that the basic app is available for free and that the pop-up tab can simply be closed. Hey Adblock, I have a better solution--how about you stop asking for handouts and stop spamming us with popups? :D "If you don't like the tab you can just close it" is the same as saying "Hey, we are going to try to punch you in the face every day, if you don't like that you can just try to dodge the punch." - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Ninetynine, há um mês
