by TodDemVaterland, 4 years agoI was sceptical at first because of the 1 Star Ratings and the Botlike 5 Star reviews, but it actually works.
If it is not working for you it may be because you have not enabled it properly or because it does not work with a script language.
The first Possibility can be easily resolved.
> Enter your Browser Add-Ons (Ctrl+Shift+A)
> 𝘖𝘱𝘦𝘯 𝘓𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘪𝘯 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘛𝘢𝘣 (This Add-On)
> 𝘖𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴
> Click on your preferred Option
Good Luck, Boomer.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Ezrway, 5 months agoWhen I go into Firefox, Add-ons, Add-ons Manager and select Open Link with New Tab, Settings, I see a landscape view of very tiny letters. I turn phone sideways and enlarge to read and select an option.
I press a link, select open link in new tab, and I see the Firefox message "New tab opened" on the left side and "Switch" on the right. I've tried all 3 options in this Firefox Android app and none of them work.
Am I missing something? - Rated 5 out of 5by wagner reatto, 6 months agothis add-on works perfectly for me.
thanks to the developer.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13754958, a year agoDoesn't work for Deliveroo links.
(Somehow Deliveroo links for restaurants override the usual open link in new tab behavior, though I can still right-click on the link and select "Open Link in New Tab" to force it to open in new tab. This was why I was looking for some add-on such as this, but unfortunately this add-on did not work.)
Also, this add-on doesn't work for bookmarks. - Rated 5 out of 5by dk_AlleyKat, a year ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17430113, 2 years agoWorks exactly as it should after setting the correct option. Must go to FF's 'Manage Your Extensions' page > Click the three dots [...] next to this addon > Select 'Options' (or the 'Options' tab on the 'Manage page) and select "Open a link to a different site on a tab" or "Open all links with tabs" depending on your preferences.
