Здравствуйте, можно ли сделать, чтобы при замене найденного текста проигровался какой-то звук?
Hello, can I do to replacement text was sound?

Hi, I don't understand your question, but you should post it to https://code.google.com/p/foxreplace/issues/list instead, and please try to explain better.

Nice stress reliever. Rated 5 out of 5 stars

I set it up to replace "Evil Asshole" with "Evil Asshole". It makes watching news clips that reference Evil Asshole so much more bearable.

Great but how can I replace ajax-loaded contents?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.16.0.1-signed).

Starting with this version (0.16.0) there's a new option that allows you to apply a substitution list periodically. You can try to apply it every second (or the period you consider necessary) and see if it fits your necessity.

Excellent! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

FoxReplace is the best and most complete replacing addon that I ever seen. Chrome and Opera doesn't have such a great addon as this one! =D

A question to the developer: when will the 0.16.0 version come out?

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.15.0.1-signed).

Thank you for your review :)

Version 0.16.0 is already submitted and will be available when it is approved by addons.mozilla.org, in a few days.

I use it to replace long and clumsy category names etc. on some sites.
Spasibo very much, Mark RA!
It's interesting to make it work with Firefox UI as well, e.g. replacing "Inspect this element with Firebug" by just "Firebug", etc. Sometimes it's very useful.
Generally, you benefitted many peope, Mark. Wish you to get interest again and resume the development. Have a good day!

How can I import a .txt list to foxreplace?
It used to exist the following:
Babelfox – An online tool for converting Google spreadsheets into FoxReplace lists.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.15.0.1-signed).  This user has a previous review of this add-on.

Ok, I never heard about it. Anyway, you can only import XML and JSON. If the txt file is really one of these formats, you can just change the extension to .xml or .json, respectively.

If you have further problems, please open an issue at http://code.google.com/p/foxreplace/issues/list or send me an email, since this place is for reviews.

Happy new 2014 year!
С новым 2014 годом! (in Russian)

1. Please make it possible to replace the selected text on page.

Сделайте пожалуйста возможность заменять выделенный текст.

2. Please make possibilities: a) transfer rules from one group to another; b) sort the rules alphabetically.

Сделайте пожалуйста возможности: а) переносить правила из одной группы в другую; б) сортировать правила по алфавиту.

P.S. A very nice addition! I process the pages (by pressing a combination of keys Shift + F8) so many rules that appear in the delay of 30-60 seconds.

Очень хорошее дополнение! Я обрабатываю страницы (нажатием сочетания кнопок Shift+F8) настолько большим количеством правил, что появляется задержка в 30-60 секунд.

Impressive Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Wow, I already had this installed to replace too long navigation elements on certain websites but I was never aware of it's ability to also change the html source. So this extension just became a reliable companion in my web development process along with Firebug, Fiddler and others especially when you have to deal with pages where you can't alter directly the source for testing purposes.

Excellent tool. So simple to use and powerful Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Excellent tool.So simple to use, so powerful, efficient and fast. I have created a substitution table using this tool that would convert Hindi/ Devanagari to Roman-English or to iTRANS. (not translation, just transliteration.) Previously long cryptic programs were needed to achieve the same, and now just a substitution table of foxreplace is achieving the same, that too much faster and efficiently. It came very handy, and is so simple to use, and yet so powerful. It is magic.Keep up the good work.

Extremely useful - there is nothing similar Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great add-on.Using it to auto-replace 2000+ search strings (phone numbers) to show me real names when reviewing my phone bills in browser. The only alternative to this is a Greasemonkey script (Replace text in webpages) that for me (and others) as of July 2013 somehow does not work any more. So I switched to this plugin, which is way more powerful (limit autoreplace to certain domains/sites, etc. etc.

Great Addon Works Fine. Using Frequently Rated 5 out of 5 stars

This is a very good addon for me. I usually used to replace lot of words in my wordpress blog posts and editing css of various codes on the fly. Great functionality and very good addon 5 Stars.

great add-on but it does not work for me Rated 3 out of 5 stars

The replace option wors as i can edit the lines in the form with the desired updates. However, when i click on "apply" or "save", the updates are not kept so whatever i edit with the add-on is not retained.
If i manually update the form, the changes are being applied.

Could you please help me on this?

Great add-on Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Works as advertised, and I'm very happy with it.
The only feature I sorely miss is "Undo" action, ( I see is on the wish list ), otherwise an excellent add-on - 5 Stars.
Thanks to the developer.

Did not work for me Rated 1 out of 5 stars

1. shift+f2 is taken by another firefox function.
2. turkish translation is apparently made by a machine (probably google translate). I hardly understood what the menus and the help file tried to tell.
3. the only thing that worked was he FoxReplace settings and it was really too hard to understand from the bad ranslation which settings that part was supposed to change (looked like something about urls)

Please remove machine-translated languages from the list of supported languages. At least you'll make it possible for english speakers to uderstand the extension better.

This review is for a previous version of the add-on (0.14.0.1-signed).

1. In the latest version FoxReplace uses F8 and Shift+F8 because of this. Although now in Firefox 20 Shift+F2 is free again.
2. The translations are suposedly made by humans. I will contact the Turkish translator and notify him of this, and disable that translation in the next version if it's not fixed.
