posted 7 years agoThank you for taking the time to share your feedback on this. We are looking into how we can alter the extension to work correctly without needing these settings. We're also looking to add the option for users to universally block Content, understanding that this may cause some websites not to load properly.

Firefox’s Enhanced Tracking Protection (Strict Mode) is known to cause issues on x.com - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 5717054, 21 days agoAVG now flags this as malware. I tried to report this to AVG, but not sure how to do that without spending a lot of time. I may have to remove this extension to prevent the multiple pop-ups from AVG on Firefox and and other browsers where I have this extension installed.
- Rated 1 out of 5by JoeJupa, 22 days agoAntivirus starting to flag Disconnect as a threat. Something has changed with Disconnect. Ran for years with NP. DO NOT trust this addon.
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 13744747, 23 days agoI would've rated this add-on 4 stars until a few days ago, when it began blocking Twitter/X website. Disabling the Firefox (v126.0 64-bit) Enhanced Tracking Protection did NOT solve the problem. As soon as I disabled the Disconnect add-on, however, Twitter/X loaded without any problems. Please fix!
- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18422724, a month agoEven though I don't have strict enabled in FF 126.0, this extension stops me from going to X. All was fine before

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17970086, 2 months agoFirefox's Enhanced Tracking Protection already uses Disconnect's lists.
- Rated 3 out of 5by pulsar14, 2 months agoIcon color should be visible both in light & dark theme. if You keep it to black (almost invisible when the browser is in dark mode), at least add a light outline color (e.g. white)

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17628517, 5 months agoREAD THIS COMMENT, you NEEDN'T install this extension when you using Firefox.
Firefox built-in tracking protection have all features of this extension and ALREADY use Disconnect's filter list, and it's up-to-date. This extension has been obsoleted (last update was on 2020), so it will break website and doesn't filter new tracking link. - Rated 5 out of 5by 吳昱, 5 months ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Janky, 8 months agoI'd say obsolete, slight bit of research and ublock filters do the trick better.
