- by Firefox user 13578014, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5This is a sorry replacement for the beautiful original colorful tabs. I am uninstalling it. It is so very ugly.

- by Firefox user 13528712, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5I had all the good will of the world to love this addon, BUT... it doesn't even get 2 km away from the genius of the original ColorfulTabs.
Most irritating problem is that every tab changes also the main theme of the browser to the tab's color, making difficult to read out menus etc, and undoing theme selection.
Sorry, but, so far, it SUCKS. - by Bankza, 3 years agoRated 5 out of 5
- by Firefox user 13254990, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5Lixo, lixo, lixo.
- by Firefox user 13785464, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5This just ads a random color to only the current open tab, and no other tab. The Color reverts to default when switching between tabs. This is a useless addon, as this does not help to differentiate the tabs that are opened. This is not the FabTabs replacement that i seek.
- by 1puregenius, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5Just not working like the older version that I liked so well; now only colors the active tab; quite useless as such.
- by Firefox user 13119159, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5Sadly not compatible with Tree Style Tabs. Seems like it's not working as well as it used to with normal tabs either. Probably not fully compatible with Quantum yet.
- by Peco, 3 years agoRated 3 out of 5Experiencing trouble. Only the active tab is colored, not the others. FF 58 on Xubuntu 16.04

- by Firefox user 13733433, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5Unfortunately it does not work with the latest version of firefox Quantum. Please can you update the plugin.
- by Firefox user 13681637, 3 years agoRated 5 out of 5Hello,
was used to this addon and liked the possibility to have one red tab as optical separator.
Do you think it will be possible in Quantum?
Like have different colors for tabs but without background of URL? Just the Tab area?
And have to chance to change the color of the tab?
Thank you - by jakryk, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5Unfortunately it doesn't work with FireFox 57.0.4. I've been waiting and hoping for an update because I loved it, but I guess they can't fix the problem. Too bad, it was a great extension when it was working.
- by Mel, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5I miss Tab Mix Plus, which let me color tabs the way I want, and designate a color to tabs I've viewed, tabs I haven't viewed, the tab I'm viewing, etc.
- by JackD, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5Only colors the one tab you're on. (FF57). Un-installed. Hope they get it working the way it was supposed to. I would love to try it again. PS. if you do- please email us. Thanks

- by rakeem84, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5Exactly what the previous reviews have said about this add-on with FF57 ("Quantum"), especially jazzybob:
ColorfulTabs does not work the same way as it did in the earlier versions of Firefox. In version 57 it highlights the tab your on with one color wile the rest of the tabs stay white. In addition the Bookmarks Toolbar and Addons Toolbars change the same color as the the highlighted tab. It's not pretty.
The one thing I loved about the old ColorfulTabs is the I could color code similar site tabs with the same color. Color coding allowed me to find tabs easily, as I can have 30 - 40 tabs open. Thank goodness for Firefox 57.
I'm very disappointed in this version of Colorful tabs and hope that they go back to the old way it worked. I'm uninstalling this version.
---> I won't use this extension any longer until it is fixed to the way it was before / how it is supposed to work! - by jazzybob, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5ColorfulTabs does not work the same way as it did in the earlier versions of Firefox.
