I tried to download a medium set of youtube videos, proceeded with default settings and recommended steps. I was bit suprised why download is using so much CPU but ignored this at the time.
Just to notice at the end, that it wasn't really clear that all videos will be embedded with big ass QR code and only reason it took 20+ minutes to download single movie was because extension was busy with embedding it with their plea to give them money.

Uninstalled immediately after that, not planning to return.

Complete scam thanks to the recent ad and watermark rework.

If you had a patreon or Kofi I certainly would have chipped in a few dollars as thanks. But this makes it completely unusable. So no, screw you, and bring back the older version.

I'm joining the ever increasing crowd of people downgrading their rating of this now useless app. Used to be great and easy to use. Then a watermark and conversion tool required at a price for high quality downloads. Lo-res was still available. Now you cannot download at any quality without the intrusive watermark. But the straw that broke the camel's back for me is that now every download is in German.
1 Star and happy to remove from my extentions.

Phenomenal extension! When asking advice on how to rip videos, other users gave me the "utilize developer tools" trick, when all I needed was this one extension. It didn't just save videos- it saved me a headache. Thank you Dev's ~
