TitleTamer helps you tame noisy page titles so tab bars stay clear. Open the popup to preview changes in real time, then apply them with one click for the current tab or enable automatic formatting per site. You control how titles look: choose a maximum length and ellipsis, pick a case style, remove the site name, add a prefix or suffix, and define optional regex find-and-replace rules for stubborn patterns. For automation, TitleTamer requests permission only for the site you enable and then reapplies your rules whenever the page updates its title. Nothing leaves your browser, there’s no tracking, and all scripts are local.
