Stock Scanner is a private dashboard for stocks and ETFs. Everything runs inside your browser:
there is no account to create, no server to send your data to, and nothing collected about you.

WHAT IT DOES

• Watchlist — live quotes every 15 seconds, paused while the tab is hidden
• Detail — candles from two-minute bars to twenty years, with company fundamentals
• Compare — up to eight tickers rebased to a common start, so you read relative performance
• Portfolio — holdings with cost basis, plus correlation, volatility and drawdown across them
• Projection — a lognormal model fitted to each ticker, drawn as percentile bands
• Allocation — weights across your picks, scored on how those tickers actually moved

MARKETS

US, London, XETRA, Paris, Amsterdam, Toronto, Sydney, Tokyo, Hong Kong, NSE, BSE and more —
51 exchange calendars, each read in its own local trading hours, including the midday break
several Asian exchanges keep. Prices display in the currency the exchange quotes in, and London
is shown in pence rather than silently divided by a hundred. Holdings in different currencies
are totalled separately; nothing invents an exchange rate.

Follow one market and search narrows to it, or choose All markets. Switching is instant and
changes only what you discover, never what you already hold.

PRIVACY

Your watchlist, holdings and cost basis live in browser storage and nowhere else. No analytics,
no error reporting, no telemetry of any kind. The only network requests go to Yahoo Finance for
prices, and the only permission beyond that is storage. It reads no page you visit and injects
no content script.

WHAT IT IS NOT

Stock Scanner is for information only. It connects to no broker or bank, has no buy or sell
button, never asks for payment details and holds no credentials. Holdings you type in are notes
to yourself — numbers the app multiplies by a price.

Projections are arithmetic over prices that have already happened: a spread of possibilities the
maths allows, not a prediction and not investment advice. Real markets have fat tails, crashes
and regime changes the model does not reproduce.

Data comes from Yahoo Finance and may be delayed up to 15 minutes.
