Every link is a mystery until you click it. Parcel solves that by showing a small preview card the moment you pause over a link — title, description, domain, estimated read time — sourced entirely from the page's metadata, without ever loading the page.

No iframe. No bandwidth. Just the answer to "is this worth clicking?"

WHAT APPEARS IN THE PREVIEW

→ Page title — from og:title or the HTML title tag
→ Description — from og:description or the meta description
→ Domain and favicon — so you always know where the link leads
→ Estimated read time — a rough figure derived from the available snippet text
→ Thumbnail image — from og:image, when available (can be turned off)

HOW IT WORKS

Parcel uses Firefox's background fetch to retrieve only the first ~60 KB of a page — just enough to read the head section where metadata lives. Once retrieved, results are cached for the session so repeated hovers are instant.

⚙️ SETTINGS

• Hover delay — Fast (300 ms), Normal (700 ms), or Relaxed (1200 ms)
• Thumbnail images — toggle og:image previews on or off
• Enable / disable with one click from the toolbar
• Press Esc at any time to dismiss an open preview

🔒 YOUR PRIVACY

Parcel fetches page metadata when you hover a link. This request goes directly from your browser to the target domain — no proxy, no third-party service. Your browsing is not tracked or logged. All cached metadata is held in memory only and cleared when the browser closes.
