Privacy Policy for lived Firefox Extension

1. Data Storage:
   The lived Firefox extension stores user preferences (such as display mode and chosen search engine) and optional personal API keys exclusively in the browser's local storage (browser.storage.local). This data never leaves your device except when authenticating with the lived API.
2. API Communication:
   When operating in Embedded Widget mode, the extension communicates directly with https://lived.best/api/v1/ to retrieve and update your task items. All network requests use secure HTTPS.
3. Search Queries:
   Queries entered into the search bar are sent directly to the search provider selected by the user (e.g., Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing). The extension does not log, track, or intercept search queries.
4. No Third-Party Tracking:
   The extension does not contain third-party trackers, advertisements, or analytics scripts. No personal browsing activity is monitored or transmitted.
