Local Storage Only:
The extension stores the following data locally on your device using your browser's encrypted storage (chrome.storage.sync):
- GitLab Credentials:
- GitLab instance URL
- Personal Access Token
- Project ID
- Connection names
- Form Drafts:
- Issue titles and descriptions
- Selected assignees and labels
- Form field values (auto-saved to prevent data loss)
- User Preferences:
- Active connection selection
- UI preferences
Important: All data is stored locally in your browser and is encrypted by the browser's built-in security mechanisms.
Data Transmission
Direct Communication Only:
The extension communicates directly with:
- Your GitLab Instance:
- To create issues
- To fetch project members
- To fetch and create labels
- To retrieve issue statistics
- Google Apps Script (Optional):
- Only if you configure spreadsheet integration
- To fetch issue data from your Google Spreadsheet
- To update spreadsheet status after import
No Third-Party Servers: The extension does not send any data to our servers or any third-party analytics services.
Permissions
The extension requires the following permissions:
storage: To save your settings and form drafts locallyhttps://gitlab.dot.co.id/*: To communicate with your GitLab instancehttps://script.google.com/*: To communicate with Google Apps Script (optional, only if you use spreadsheet integration)
Data Security
- All credentials are stored using browser's encrypted storage
- GitLab Personal Access Tokens are never exposed to external parties
- Communication with GitLab uses HTTPS encryption
- You can revoke access tokens anytime from GitLab settings
Data Deletion
You can delete all stored data at any time:
- Remove Extension: Uninstalling the extension will delete all locally stored data
- Clear Settings: Go to extension settings and delete connections
- Browser Storage: Clear browser data for this extension
Third-Party Services
The extension interacts with:
- GitLab API: Subject to GitLab's Privacy Policy
- Google Apps Script (Optional): Subject to Google's Privacy Policy
