Driftboard replaces Firefox's new tab page with a customizable dashboard of widgets — inspired by Vivaldi's Start Page, built for anyone who wants their new tab to actually be useful.

▎ Widgets (add as many as you like, in any combination):
▎ - Weather — current conditions, Today/Week forecast, your choice of Open-Meteo or wttr.in as the data source
▎ - Speed Dial — site shortcuts you add manually, or sync live from a bookmarks folder
▎ - Top Sites — your frequently visited sites, automatically
▎ - Bookmarks — a browsable list view of any bookmarks folder
▎ - Quick Search — search Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, or any custom search engine
▎ - RSS/News — headlines from feeds you add
▎ - Tasks — a simple to-do list with drag-to-reorder
▎ - Sticky Notes — freeform notes, as many as you need
▎ - Currency — track exchange rates and do quick conversions
▎ - Time, Greeting, Countdown, and Pomodoro — clock, a personalized greeting, a countdown to any date, and a work/break focus timer
▎ - Embed Webpage — pin any embeddable page (like a TradingView ticker) directly on your dashboard

▎ Make it yours:
▎ - Background: solid color, your own uploaded image, or random photos from Picsum (no signup) or Unsplash (with your own free API key)
▎ - Adjustable columns, drag-and-drop widget reordering, and per-widget column spanning
▎ - Widget opacity and custom CSS for further tweaking
▎ - Export/import your whole setup as a JSON file to back it up or move it between machines

▎ Everything runs locally in your browser. Driftboard doesn't run its own servers and doesn't collect or sell your data — individual widgets talk directly to the services they need (e.g. Open-Meteo for weather, your chosen search engine for search) only when you use that feature.
