- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Usuário 18514967 do Firefox, há 7 diasIt looks great on most websites and really helped with my eyestrain and I haven't had any issues with exessive CPU usage. HOWEVER it does break several website to the point of getting "Access denied" errors that were only resolved once I removed this extension. I will gladly return once this is fixed
Então removi a extensão e parou o problema.

- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Gunner, há 3 mesesIt does what it says it does, however, it increases page load times by an unacceptable amount. Pages load instantly with the extension disabled. With it on, load times are anywhere from 3 to 5 seconds. That doesn't sound like a lot until you're sitting through it on every page load. And those 3 to 5 seconds add up after just a few minutes of browsing. Honestly this extension shouldn't even have to exist. There's no reason Firefox doesn't have a native dark mode like literally every other browser does. I thought this would be the fix, but it comes up a little short for me.
- Avaliado em 2 de 5por grizzler, há 4 mesesUsed to be five stars, but Dark Reader is slowing Firefox down far too much these days... :(

- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Freeroamer696, há 5 mesesUnfortunately this ext has been unusable of late(2/25/24). Firefox (on more than 1 occasion) suggested I disable it to improve performance. Slows down site loading, freezes and missing items are a constant now. If it returns to it's previous functionality I would happily reinstall as it was great, but until then, it has to go for my browser to remain functional. Hope a fix is incoming....

- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Leo, há 5 mesesVery useful but its really affecting Firefox's performance with its resource demands!
This is the second time I installed and uninstalled it because I noticed how much it kept slowing down Firefox! - Avaliado em 2 de 5por Usuário 15258288 do Firefox, há 6 mesesworked great in edge but in firefox it always flickers and messes up ui in many pages like facebook messenger
- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Usuário 18268214 do Firefox, há 6 mesesAlmost doubles Firefox's CPU usage. It was causing stuttering on a stream I was watching. Awful performance, isn't worth what it does.
- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Usuário 14492264 do Firefox, há 6 mesesFunctionality is good, but it freezes or really slow down the Firefox. On mobile it's unusable, on desktop it ruins the performance. Even on sites with disabled filter.
- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Nocturne, há 7 mesesI still remember how great it was when it could actually auto-detect site theme without relying on OS theme...
And there are STILL bug when if you switch auto -> on -> auto that it'll discard saved options and will default to "OS theme" even tho it's not even checked - Avaliado em 2 de 5por Usuário 15848924 do Firefox, há 7 mesesllevaba usando esta extensión años.
- Avaliado em 2 de 5por danger89, há 7 mesesI like the addon very much, but the webpages are slowed down by a factor 2 or 3! So no thanks.. It's just too slow.
- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Usuário 13646205 do Firefox, há 8 mesesEvery time there is a firefox update I have to remove dark reader and install it all over again on my several firefox installs. Very annoying.
- Avaliado em 2 de 5por Usuário 15222006 do Firefox, há 8 mesesNot great. Just inverting colors which makes images appear inverted as well. Was hoping this was a true dark mode.
- Avaliado em 2 de 5por me, há 8 meseswas great. now breaking lots of pages- wikipedia, and links open in new tabs.
linux based firefox 120 64bit
why don't all websites offer dark mode? - Avaliado em 2 de 5por Hassan TR, há 8 meses
- Avaliado em 2 de 5por ChefExperte, há 8 mesesWhile it works on some pages, it breaks many pages for no reason. Some buttons cannot be clicked anymore, some text blocks disappear, ui elements get moved around and other problems. On the most recent Firefox version some tabs just constantly crash. Nice idea for a plugin, but it does not work...

- Avaliado em 2 de 5por HaricotsDeLiam, há 10 mesesAutomation is broken when used on Firefox for macOS. When the extension is set to follow the system dark theme and macOS is set to "Auto" instead of "Light" or "Dark", Dark Reader mistakenly thinks the system is set to "Light" no matter what time of day it is.
Downloading any of the past 25 older versions of the extension doesn't resolve the problem.
The Chrome version of this extension has no such issues.
