Under the hood, uBlock relies on the same trusted, community-maintained filter lists that the best blockers rely on, including EasyList and uBlock Origin's lists, and they refresh in the background, so your protection stays current without you ever thinking about it. If something does slip through, you can just point at it and hide it yourself. If there's a site you'd rather leave completely alone, you can switch Ublok off for that one site with a single click.
