Click the toolbar button, then click any animated GIF, WebP, APNG, or AVIF and a compact player bar appears attached to it. From there you can pause, step through frames one at a time, scrub to any point, adjust playback speed, or flip the direction into reverse or ping-pong bounce.

Controls

• Play / Pause
• Step one frame back or forward
• Scrub to any frame by clicking or dragging
• Adjust playback speed
• Change direction: forward, reverse, or bounce
• Drag the player bar out of the way; double-click to snap it back
• Keyboard shortcuts: Space to play/pause, arrow keys to step, Home/End to jump to the first or last frame

On a standalone image page (e.g. a direct .gif link), the controls appear the moment you click the toolbar button; image selection is automatic.

Privacy

Jiffy works entirely on your device. It doesn't collect data, make network requests, or track anything.
