This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your information when using the Application and any related services.

Some features described in this Privacy Policy, such as user accounts, cloud synchronization, and paid features, may not yet be available. These sections explain how your information will be handled if such features are introduced in the future.

1. Information We Collect
   A. Anonymous Analytics (Current)
   The Application uses PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics that help us understand how the Application is used, identify bugs, improve performance, and develop new features.

Depending on your browser and device, analytics may include information such as:

Browser type and version
Operating system
Extension version
Anonymous device or session identifier
Feature usage
Performance metrics
Crash and diagnostic information
General interaction events
We do not intentionally collect information such as:

Your browsing history
Passwords
Keystrokes
Form inputs
The contents of websites you visit
Personal files stored on your device
Analytics are enabled by default and can be disabled at any time from the Application's Settings. Once disabled, the Application will stop sending analytics events from your installation.

B. Waitlist (Optional)
You may choose to join a waitlist by voluntarily providing your email address. Providing your email is entirely optional.

If you join the waitlist, we may use your email address to notify you when new features or products become available, communicate important information related to the Application, and respond to inquiries you send us. We do not sell or rent your email address. You may request deletion of your email address at any time by contacting us.

C. User Accounts (Future Feature)
If user accounts become available in the future, we may collect information necessary to provide account functionality, including email address, authentication information managed through our authentication provider, account preferences, synchronized settings, and data you choose to synchronize across devices.

Authentication may be provided through Supabase or another secure authentication provider. Passwords are handled securely by the authentication system and are never intentionally stored by us in plain text.

D. Local Content
The Application allows you to create and manage personal content such as bookmarks, widgets, images, videos, notes, and other customization data. Currently, this content is stored locally on your device. It is not shared with other users.

If cloud synchronization becomes available in the future, only the content you choose to synchronize will be uploaded to your account solely for synchronization and backup purposes.

1. Browser Permissions
   The Application requests only the permissions necessary to provide its features. Depending on the version of the Application, permissions may include access to browser storage, new tab functionality, notifications, bookmarks, and other browser capabilities required to provide requested features. Permissions are used only for the functionality they are intended to provide.
2. How We Use Information
   We use collected information to operate the Application, improve stability and performance, understand feature usage, fix bugs, respond to support requests, communicate important service updates, provide optional account functionality, synchronize data across devices (when available), and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third-Party Services
   The Application may use trusted third-party service providers, including PostHog for anonymous analytics, Supabase for authentication and cloud data synchronization (future feature), and Cloudflare for website hosting, content delivery, and security. These providers process information only to provide services on our behalf and in accordance with their own privacy practices.
4. Data Retention
   We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the Application and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, legal obligations, and operational requirements. Anonymous analytics may be retained for statistical analysis. Account information and synchronized data may be retained until your account is deleted or as required by law.
5. International Data Transfers
   Our service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, appropriate safeguards will be implemented to protect your information during international transfers.
6. Your Privacy Rights
   Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access your personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and request a copy of your personal data where applicable.

NOTE: Anonymous analytics collected through the Application are not intended to identify you personally. As a result, we may be unable to associate anonymous analytics with a specific individual or fulfill requests relating to anonymous analytics.

1. Children's Privacy
   The Application is not intended for children under the age of 13, or the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
2. Security
   We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of electronic storage or internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
3. Changes to This Privacy Policy
   We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, we will update the Effective Date and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Application after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
