GhostPrint protects your privacy by randomizing the browser signals that trackers use to identify you across websites, a technique known as fingerprint farbling, the same approach used by Brave Browser.
What it randomizes: - Canvas output (2D and WebGL) - AudioContext fingerprint - Hardware concurrency (CPU core count) - Browser plugin list
Each website sees a different, consistent fingerprint. Reload the page or visit a new site and the values change, making long-term tracking across domains unreliable.
Verified against EFF's Cover Your Tracks tool, which awards the "randomized fingerprint" status when GhostPrint is active.
