The extension screenshots the visible tab, reads the board with a neural network that runs entirely inside your browser, and shows you the position. From there:

• Analyze on Lichess, one click to the analysis board
• Open in Coachess for coached analysis
• Copy the FEN to use anywhere

• The screenshot is taken only when you click the icon (activeTab permission)
• Recognition runs 100% on your device, the image never leaves your browser

Works with lichess and chess.com themes, book diagrams, and most piece sets. When a position is hard to read, fenshot says so instead of pretending, and routes you to an editor to fix the squares.
