Privacy policy for Dokobit e-signing and e-identification add-on

This policy provides information on what personal data is processed by Dokobit and how it is used by third-party services.

1. Data subject

The data subject is a natural person who uses Dokobit e-signing and e-identification add-on for digital signing and authentication means with ID cards, smartcards or USB tokens.

2. Personal information processing and storing

To authenticate a user or provide digital signing functionality, this extension accesses personal information from certificates stored in ID cards, smartcards or USB tokens connected to the user's computer. These certificates are accessed using the PKCS#11 standard through the libraries installed by the user separately.

3. Data sharing

The user's certificate is sent to Dokobit or a third-party service implementing Dokobit e-signing and e-identification once the user initiates authentication or signing action in that service.

4. Logging of information

Information is logged only in the user's local machine and is not sent to any third party or stored by Dokobit.
