BettrReadr is a reader mode built specifically for AI chat conversations.

Built-in reader views work on articles but fail on chat interfaces.

This extension turns ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot
conversations into a clean, distraction-free reading experience.

READ WITHOUT THE CLUTTER
One click extracts the conversation from the page and opens it in a
minimal reader window: no chat input box, no sidebar, no navigation,
just the conversation, formatted like a book.

ZOOM THE TEXT, NOT THE INTERFACE
Browser zoom enlarges everything, wasting screen space on buttons and
panels. BettrReadr zooms only the reading text (50% - 300%) with full text
reflow, like an eBook or PDF reader - ideal for accessibility, low-vision
reading, presentations, or just comfortable long-form reading. Ctrl +/−
and Ctrl+scroll work as you'd expect.

KEEPS THE ORIGINAL FORMATTING
Headings, bold and italics, bullet and numbered lists, code blocks with
syntax labels, inline code, tables, quotes, links, images, and even
math formulas are preserved from the original chat.

DARK MODE AND LIGHT MODE
A warm, book-like theme in both dark and light variants, follows your
system preference automatically, or toggle it manually.

EXPORT AND PRINT
Save any conversation as a PDF or print it with a clean print layout that
matches the theme you read in.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No account, no tracking, no analytics, no remote servers. The extension
only runs when you click its button, reads only the current tab, and
nothing ever leaves your machine.

HOW TO USE
1. Open an AI chat conversation.
2. Click the BettrReadr toolbar button.
3. Read, zoom, switch themes, maximize the window, or export to PDF.
Click the button again any time to refresh the reader with the latest
messages.
