di Gongloss, un anno faUPDATED REVIEW: It's even worse than I thought. I'm in the middle of using a web interface to configure a linux server, and discovered that every time I open a user for any of the services on the server, this plugin shoves the main login for the control panel into anything, on any page or subdomain, that it thinks might be a login, even if there's already something there, causing all my previously configured account I edit for any service—MySql users, FTP users, everything—to be overwritten with my root login and password without my realizing it every time I so much as want to change an option for them. I am lowering my rating from 2 stars to 1 star and uninstalling this plugin. Bitwarden is now not just annoying to use, it's now actually destructive, it's destroyed my server account configurations because of this inexcusably poor design. I am uninstalling BitWarden and will never touch it again with a ten foot pole. This is beyond a nightmare.
I should have guessed. I knew that including 2FA and password storage in the same service was incredibly dangerous and lousy design, and I went ahead and thought I could use the features anyway and they'd be ok. I should have known.
PREVIOUS REVIEW:
This plugin is terrible.
What good is a password manager if the auto-fill is broken? 9 times out of 10, even though BitWarden does have a login saved for a site, if I go to that site, I have to manually open BitWarden to look up the login because the autofill, which I do have turned on, simply does not work.
(And on the 10th time, it takes so long to autofill it that I have given up on waiting and started to type it, and THEN it tacks the password onto the end of what I've already typed, so I have to reload the page and wait for the autofill again.)
I might as well just save my logins in a text file.
Disgraceful and frustrating. I'm glad I didn't pay for this service.

- Valutata 1 su 5di Alex, 3 giorni faAuto-fill has been broken for 2 weeks now, need to copy/paste passwords which leaves them all in my clipboard manager. Turning off and back on the addon after each browser restart is a temporary "fix"
- Valutata 1 su 5di coucou-1364596093.77, 3 giorni faNo longer fills in passwords and user names. Still able to paste and copy.
- Valutata 5 su 5di raro, 4 giorni faReally happy former LastPass user here. Switching over to Bitwarden was so easy and quick. Its UI is seamless and I could just get on with using it. Love using open source software.
- Valutata 4 su 5di Orange, 4 giorni faI'm only giving Bitwarden 4 stars because sometimes the addon doesn't recognise that I've either changed a password or made an account on some webpages. In that case I have to add it by hand, but other than that the service is truly magical. If I had more money I'd even pay for it, as a sign of appreciation - I have no need for their premium features. They're certainly more valuable than that other, unmentionable, password management company. <3
- Valutata 1 su 5di Utente Firefox 16623789, 4 giorni faPassword auto-fill no longer works properly. Bitwarden pops up for every field, regardless of whether it's a password field or not. The Firefox extension has become really bad and causes more frustration than benefit. I hope this gets fixed soon!

If you open the extension for ANY reason, you cannot exit unless you close the browser completely. It never auto fills. If lucky enough to get the prompt to unlock with PIN, clicking the prompt does nothing. You have to manually open the extension...which will then not auto fill and will not close. It's essentially useless for any practical purpose.

- Valutata 5 su 5di Mr Rodorodette, 6 giorni faA must have !! Free features will meet 99% of users' needs. Easy to use, extremely efficient, even easy to self-host with a yunohost operated server.
- Valutata 1 su 5di Kyle R, 6 giorni faWorks fine most of the time. Occasionally, the vault does not lock after the timeout (set to timeout after 2 hours, but three times I've come back to my laptop after an hour and found it still unlocked) and the "Lock Now" button is unresponsive. Absolutely unacceptable problem in a security app.
- Valutata 3 su 5di Lernos, 6 giorni faIt's a good extension and a great password manager... on PC. On Android it's barely usable as a Firefox extension. To unlock the vault, it opens a window inside the browser, and the only way out of that window is to successfully use autofill or to lock the vault back. If autofill fails, no amount of using the "back" arrow will close the extension window and get you back to your browser and its tabs, you have to fully restart Firefox. Guess I'll have to stick with the Android app instead.

Very good Password Manager in almost all aspects. I worked with all of the most common ones at this point, this one is my favorite.
Only slight downside is the lack of an option to remove the context menu entry. - Valutata 5 su 5di AnarcoDani, 8 giorni fa
