Barely working now Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Best add on I ever had. Only problem is that for some reason it barely works now. I have the latest flash and latest Firefox and it's still not working

Videos in 4K @60FPS aren't working, i mean it just reproduce them in 4k @30FPS.
Tihs don't happen with 1080p @60FPS, the problem is with 4k.

Update: Works perfectly with Firefox 36.0.4 Rated 1 out of 5 stars

But doesn't work with FF 37; if I close Firefox and reopen it, then go to Youtube, videos do not load with the selected size and resolution in Youtube High Definition. Tested on 2 different computers with 2 clean installs of Firefox.

**** BIG BUG **** Rated 1 out of 5 stars

When you use add-on "YouTube Flash Video Player 36.1" (from same developper) with this addon and set the addon to use FLASH it does not work at all since FF37.

The addon work BUT ONLY with the HTML5 Player.

Since those 2 addons are from the same developper I'm a little bit
disappointed... moreover 2 weeks ago I emailed the author to inform him about the bug but no reply from Baris.

N.B.: TESTED on Clean Profile

Problems with Firefox 37 Rated 3 out of 5 stars

YouTube High Definition is a really useful add-on and has worked very well for many months. With the new Firefox 37 it shows some strange behavior. Most videos end up with a "something went wrong" message from youtube. The message disappears shortly after when the page is forwarded to the actual video - but without the high definition setting. So it seems broken at the moment. Hope it gets fixed. It's really awesome when it works.

problems with latest firefox. Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I still love the add-on, but as mentioned before, it has issues with the latest Firefox, it happens in HTML5 and Flash, i always have it on 1080p but the resolution stays on like 480, but the option on youtube is 1080, you have to manually go to 1080 again to get 1080 resolution for the video, pretty much makes using this add-on useless as i still need to choose a resolution.

Hi Baris...just to let you know your Youtube Flash Video Player 36.1 DOES NOT work with your YouTube High Definition 36.1 player installed at the same time...when the option is set to only play flash NONE of the options work under Youtube High Definition Player.

When I have both add ons running in firefox 37 ONLY the Youtube Flash Video Player works.

Hope you get them working together soon.

****UPDATE

As of today April 6th it looks like youtube has disabled HTML5 to automatically play in firefox...so everything is working fine with the add-on with firefox 37 because HTML5 is not being forced on us...so maybe its something youtube and firefox gotta work out....I mean who tests this shit?

&hd=1 shows up on every YouTube video I watch. This has become a problem lately as every YouTube video I watch will refresh. I hope you fix this for the next update.

Turns this URL /watch?v=fEAyDNWaCto#t=4 into /watch?v=fEAyDNWaCto#t=4&hd=1 which is terribly wrong. Please, take the hash char into consideration.

Almost perfect! Not quite, but almost. Fantastic overall though! Rated 4 out of 5 stars

Does (almost) everything it says and works very well.

Only reason not 5 stars is becuase it does not work with embedded YouTube videos. Other than that... 5/5

Sweetness! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Annotations good-bye!! HD here I come!
I feel like the master of Youtube with this little treasure. I'm no longer bothered by annotations nagging me, and I don't have to be bothered by clicking "HD" every time a video pops up. Also I have full volume control as well as playlist control- totally sweet. I felt like I had to make an account just to review all of the great add-ons and this one made the cut :)

This add-on is perfect!

It runs your favorite HD resolution every time without fail. You can kill annotations, and you can auto start videos!

On a side note... If you have FlashStopper add-on installed to stop those annoying videos you get all over the net that auto play, this will override that setting so you have just youtube vids auto loading!

Thank you so much for this wonderful, perfectly working add-on!
