Hype Control od Ktulue

Hype Control is a free, open-source browser extension that adds friction between you and impulse Twitch purchases — gift subs, bits, and subscriptions. It doesn't block anything. It just makes sure the decision is actually a decision.

What it does:
- Shows the real price with tax, because Twitch won't.
- Translates purchases into work hours — "that's 2.5 hours of your life" hits
different than "$50".
- Puts spending in terms you feel — that gift sub is 16 Costco hot dogs.
- Scales confirmation steps with price: small purchases get a nudge, big ones
get cooldown timers, type-to-confirm, and a math challenge.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly spending caps with progress bars.
- Savings calendar that tracks every dollar you didn't spend.
- Streaming mode auto-bypasses friction when you're live on your own channel.
- Per-channel whitelist — skip, reduce, or keep full friction per streamer.
