Shortstop gives you that decision back.

What it does
• No more swiping: any Shorts link opens in the regular YouTube player, so one video stays one video.
• Out of sight: hides Shorts shelves on the home page, subscriptions, search results and watch pages, plus the Shorts button in the sidebar and the Shorts tab on channels.
• Daily counter: the toolbar popup shows how many Shorts were stopped today.
• Your choice: turn redirecting and hiding on or off separately.
• Works on www.youtube.com and m.youtube.com.
• Available in English and Danish.

Private by design
Shortstop collects no data, sends nothing anywhere and makes no network requests. Your settings and counter stay in your browser.
