Manage your own HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5 proxies with configuration subscriptions, backup URLs, Podkop lists and routing by domain, website or individual tab. For HTTPS proxies, Firefox can send saved credentials in the first CONNECT request, including when authentication is hidden by camouflage.
Switch profiles from the toolbar or choose a direct connection or the browser’s system proxy settings. Choose automatic, light or dark appearance.
• Configuration subscriptions with backup URLs and optional Basic Auth over HTTPS. Edit source URLs, credentials and the interval in one panel; pause automatic checks, refresh from settings or the toolbar popup, or unsubscribe while keeping profiles. Failed updates preserve the last working configuration. The source can update subscription URLs while local credentials and update preferences are retained.
• Firefox routing by request domain, top-level website or individual tab. HTTPS proxies can receive saved credentials preemptively; SOCKS5 supports username/password authentication and proxy-side DNS. Firefox for Android is supported from version 142.
• Automatic domain lists from the sources used by Podkop, with optional updates through your proxy. Unneeded lists are not downloaded.
• Proxy all sites or use a manual domain list with wildcard support. Local networks are bypassed by default; this can be disabled.
• Experimental MASQUE in Firefox 146+: disabled by default, without username/password authentication. CONNECT-TCP scenarios are tested; HTTP/3 over CONNECT-UDP is not confirmed.
• HTTP and HTTPS CONNECT proxies, including username/password authentication and an optional knock host.
• SOCKS5 with proxy-side DNS. Username/password authentication is supported in Firefox.
• One selected profile with names, colors and country flags. Reorder profiles by dragging, including on touch screens.
• Test routing rules and check the connection: exit IP, country and HTTPS load time.
• Import MegaProxy, FoxyProxy, ZeroOmega, ProxyList and SuperProxy from a file or URL. Export MegaProxy configurations: HTTP profiles and HTTPS proxies with IPv6 addresses cannot be exported; SOCKS5 needs a compatible client.
• Notices when active proxy settings or routing rules change, including Podkop lists. System notifications are optional and require separate permission.
• Optional WebRTC restrictions, page context menus, English and Russian interfaces, and light and dark themes.
• Settings sync through your browser. Sync and password sync are enabled by default and can be disabled independently.
• Request counters and a bounded network monitor are enabled by default and can be disabled. Their data stays local. A separate local diagnostic log can be viewed and exported, with a configurable 1–10 MiB limit.
MegaProxy is a proxy manager, not a proxy service. You need your own compatible proxy; no proxy servers, VPN subscription or account are included. Unsupported configuration fields are reported during import. SOCKS4, proxy chains, custom PAC scripts and automatic proxy failover are not supported.
With saved credentials, Firefox supplies preemptive authentication where its proxy API supports it, and the knock action is disabled. The knock host remains editable for connections without saved credentials. Without saved credentials, a configured knock host opens for the browser’s authentication prompt. Firefox requires private-window access for its proxy settings API.
Firefox uses updated settings for subsequent requests; existing connections may need a page reload. If a subscription removes the selected profile, it chooses a replacement while preserving Direct/System mode.
