Clearance Paper is a focused measuring aid for flat, axis-aligned fit questions. Enter an item's width and height, an opening's width and height, and any clearance required on each side. A scaled drawing shows the item against the opening, while the result reports width and height spare or over. Switch between upright and a 90-degree turn; both orientation outcomes stay visible. Change units among millimetres, centimetres, and inches without changing the underlying physical measurements. The current measurements and orientation are stored locally so they return when the popup is reopened. The extension explicitly does not model depth, handles, hinges, diagonal tilting, or the path through a three-dimensional doorway, and it must not be used as a safety or engineering certification. It reads no webpages, works offline, requires no account, and is entirely in English.
