გაფართოების შესახებ
Never forget what you read online. Save any passage with a right-click, leave notes and checklists on any page, and get reminded at the right moment, with no account, no server, and no data ever leaving your device.
What you can do
Your data stays yours
No account, no server, no analytics. Your notes, reminders and settings are stored only in your browser. The only thing that goes online is site icons, which are loaded from Google's favicon service using the site's domain name. Export or permanently delete your data anytime from the settings page.
Permissions, explained
What you can do
- Remember any passage. Select text, right-click, and choose "Remember this". The note is pinned to that exact passage and finds it again on your next visit, even if the page shifts around.
- Rich notes on any page. Bold, italic, links, quotes, code blocks and checklists, with Markdown shortcuts as you type. Pick a color for each note, or create your own.
- Reminders. "Next time I visit", a quick preset, or any exact date and time from a calendar, with a real notification when it's due.
- It reminds you when you return. Come back to a page and your notes are waiting for you.
- Site memory. Keep a running scratchpad about a whole website, not just one page.
- Everything in one place. All your notes grouped by website, plus a searchable timeline. One click takes you back to the page, right to the passage you saved.
- Change tracking. Opt any site into local change detection to see when a page you follow has changed since your last visit.
- Templates. Save note formats you use often (job applications, recipes, trip plans) and insert them in one click.
- Backup and restore. Export everything to a single JSON file and import it on another device or after a reinstall.

Permissions, explained
- Access your data for all websites: WebRecall runs on the pages you visit so it can show your notes there and find the passages you saved. Pages are read locally and never sent anywhere.
- Storage: saves your notes on your device.
- Notifications and alarms: deliver your reminders.
- Context menus: adds "Remember this" to the right-click menu.
- Browsing activity (data collection): only the domain names of sites you've saved notes on, sent to Google's favicon service to show each site's icon.
