EZRate browser extension — privacy policy

The extension does not collect, store or share any personal information.

• It cannot read or change the pages you visit and has no access to your browsing history.
• It needs no account. Your settings (language, favourite rates, price alerts) are saved only in your browser (browser storage) and are deleted when you remove the extension.
• To show the rates it downloads one public list of prices from our server (https://api.ezrate.me/v1/ext/rates). On first run it gets a random, anonymous install token from https://api.ezrate.me/v1/ext/register; it contains no personal information and is used only to limit abusive traffic. Like any web server, ours sees the IP address of the request; it is not linked to any person and technical logs are deleted after 90 days.
• No analytics, advertising or tracking code is included, and no data is sold or shared with third parties.
