This is awesome! Restores the best part of Crunchyroll. It also recovers many (though not all) of the comments that used to exist. Magic.

This is an amazing add-on - not only does it restore commenting functionality to Crunchyroll, but it also restores the old comments that Crunchyroll deleted. Thank you for your hard work to make this happen! As others have said, we just need more people to install the add-on to bring back the old community. This is probably the best-case scenario for CR, too, since with this I'll continue using the site (cancelled my subscription initially when they made the change), but at the same time they presumably now have no liability or moderation responsibility, which is presumably why they got rid of comments in the first place. Only thing on my wishlist would be restore reviews as well, but I know that would be harder to do.

The developer was able to *restore* old crunchyroll comments, in addition to self host new ones? Let me just give you my credit card info... jk but like thank you! Thank you for making this!!!

Also I'd recommend not using the Twitter or Github login as they display the full name used on those accounts. The Commentario account is more flexible with display name and profile pic.

Was able to add a comment to an episode and without a log in to any service (although the choice was there if I wanted to use one)

I missed being able to look down at the comments after watching an episode and seeing all the various chatter about it. With this, hopefully that can return.
