Copy Table makes it easy to move tabular data from web pages into documents, spreadsheets, notes, and an AI agent’s context field. Right-click any cell in an HTML table, open “Copy as,” and choose HTML, Markdown, plain text, or CSV. The add-on finds the closest table containing the clicked element and puts the selected format on your clipboard for immediate pasting.

Copying happens locally in Firefox for that operation. Copy Table does not read your existing clipboard or send table contents to a server. It accesses a page only when you invoke a Copy as action. A brief message confirms success or explains why the table could not be copied.

Copy Table works on normal web pages and same-origin frames. Browser-protected pages, cross-origin frames, and layouts built from non-table elements cannot be inspected by Firefox. When copying fails, the existing clipboard is left unchanged.
