Firefox Multi-Account Containers tekijä Mozilla Firefox

kirjoittanut Anonymous User, neljä vuotta sittenMonths later, this remains an incredible tool that is hamstrung by severe bugs.
For example: you can't sync containers between Windows and Linux. You can sync containers created in Firefox running on Linux with other Linux installations, and you can sync containers created in Firefox running on Windows with other Windows installations. But sync across OSes, and you'll wind up with two independent sets of containers synced to the same account.
Another example: the extension frequently spams dozens if not hundreds of additional containers. If my list looks like "Facebook / Google / Shopping", then one day I'll have "Facebook / Facebook / Google / Facebook / Google / Facebook / Facebook / Facebook / Facebook / Facebook / Shopping / Facebook / Google / Google / Google / etc". Because there's no way to clear out your sync data, the only way to fix this is to completely delete and re-create your Firefox sync account or trigger a password reset.
Another example: When you win a badge ("hooray! You just opened 100 tabs!"), it stops using containers. Eventually you'll click on the extension to find out why the heck it stopped working. That's when you find out that alerting you to whatever stupid "award" you've won is more important than actually doing the one job it has.
This has the potential to be a game changer, but it's just a half-baked pile of garbage.

Really pratical to securise web pages and categorize them. - Arvioitu 4/5kirjoittanut Feline17ff, neljä päivää sittenIt works pretty well, but the "Always open this tab in new container" is glitchy
One of my tabs just wont open right now. And it's very annoying when I need to open in another container and there's nothing in settings where I can either remove that property or change it.
So I would advise steering clear of that feature. - Arvioitu 5/5kirjoittanut Firefox-käyttäjä 18471030, neljä päivää sitten

There are some great ideas, but the usability is abysmal, development has been basically non-existant for years.
- The extension constantly asks you which container to use even when its the first time you've gone to a website in a specific container or even when you specifically ask it to use a certain container.
- Its also incredibly annoying to try and use the same domain in two containers, in contrast to what the addon claims, because the extensions keeps panicking about which to open and tends to override your current container choice at will.
- Its impossible to migrate your addon config to another profile or device, only the container names can be backed up.
I've used it for years and have found it to be more trouble than its worth. Rather than having a simple all-in-one profile swapper it is more akin to just colored tabs that break websites, make it impossible to use the same domain in multiple containers without hassle and doesn't respect your explicit choice of container half the time. - Arvioitu 5/5kirjoittanut nnldsnkd; s, kahdeksan päivää sitten

- Arvioitu 2/5kirjoittanut Firefox-käyttäjä 12878065, yhdeksän päivää sittenGreat addon and idea, but the sync is a complete sh*t show. When deleting containers, they just somehow reappear, and if likely you'll end up with TWO, since it seems to restore the one you deleted and then pull one from the sync. In short, the Sync feature is completely useless, and have left me with at least 5 duplicates of every container I tried to delete. Can you PLEASE fix this? And there's no way to purge what's stored on the cloud.

- Arvioitu 5/5kirjoittanut THEDZKO, 10 päivää sittenAmazing feature! Allows a way more convenient way of managing different accounts from the same website and, at the same time, it is great that is an optional extra feature from the Mozilla Team. Recommended.
