Excellent product. Downloads everything I have thrown at it. The only problem I have is that it will not restart a failed download the way firefox does - there does not seem to be an option for that.

Took hours to download a stream and merge it, and in the end the video has a huge QR on the corner, total garbage.

Video Downloadhelper is for me an undispensable extension to firefox. It works not only for video but also for audio content.
Some streaming content, however, cannot be saved (i.e. Digital concert Hall). This needs some improvement, thogh.

They hinder more and more downloads. And now they even add a watermark to it. Obviously I will no longer be using this plugin. Awful.

Нужно установить еще какой-то мусор "помощник". То есть нет, не просто установить это в 2 клика и пользоваться. Нужно дополнительно еще ставить другое приложение. Прям как в 90х наверно. Ну комон, 21век уже. Видимо тут это не знают. Может вам еще флешплеер скачать и дрова обновить.

Demands you to download an additional exe which is shady enough already, and needs you to pay about 20?30 bucks to get rid of that huge non-transparent QR code in the file? What's with all those 5 star reviews? You all satisfied with that eye hazard in the videos you liked so much that you had to download with a scammy browser extension or you just wanted to support lazy coders who try to make a living by selling overpriced piracy authentications?

So far so good. I've had no problems using this along with the companion application on Linux.

Very useful and easy operation.

Just hit my 1000th video downloaded, so figured I should finally review it. Honestly it's the best extension I've ever used. I don't even sail the high seas anymore for videos, I just use this along with any free video site. It's quicker and I don't get notices from my ISP anymore. 9.99/10. My only complaint is DASH streams download with a watermark, but I've only ever ran into DASH streams on one website out of hundreds (Dropout .tv)
