Daher von mir nur noch einen Stern statt der vorigen 5 Sterne. - Rated 1 out of 5by Thirty30, 13 hours agoBefore May of 2024 this was a useful addon. Now the free version adds an obnoxious QR code to your videos, rendering its main purpose useless. You also need to use their companion app, something they've been pushing for a while but didn't require. This used to be the best video downloader. Such a shame to see it ruined like this.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Megaritis, a day agoThe latest update requires you do download their questionable companion app. Uninstalled, and you should do the same.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13373670, 2 days agoUsed to be able to download without the damn coapp now you need it if not you get the lovely QR code on your video.
- Rated 1 out of 5by laylaylom, 2 days agopay or have a QR code that covers a decent chunk of the video? No thanks.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Nichnet, 2 days agoThis is so hard to use, very hard to figure out plus the typeface is so small. For the first time I removed a new version to use an older one and turned off updates. Sad
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13490894, 2 days agoIt doesn't work any more. Too pity. I removed it.
- Rated 1 out of 5by user1952401, 2 days agoAnother case of dev chasing money and completely trashing on the userbase. Take a look at the github page to see them circlejerk. I recommend checking out other options instead of using this broken mess. If you want to see other reviews, filter to only 1 star to see actual reviews instead of 5 star bots.
I hope whoever at Mozilla is in charge of putting the recommended label on addons will review this update and consider removing it from the list of recommended extensions. - Rated 1 out of 5by zeroxdead, 2 days ago

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18432716, 2 days agoThe new Version is bad. You can no longer see the quality of the downloads. Every video and photo from the respective website is displayed. It takes an eternity until you find the video to download

- Rated 1 out of 5by Citizen, 3 days agoEvery downloaded video has a MASSIVE QR code shoved into it to try to force you to pay for this extension. It also requires an invasive additional program to function.
AVOID - Rated 1 out of 5by RMC, 3 days agoI've been using vdh for years, but the most recent release is just completely dysfunctional.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18430851, 4 days agoOne star. For ruining a good app. A hopeless layout, disturbing pop-up side bar and useless download application that creates many problems. There is no history, you can't go to the file, you can't download with one click, etc. The application is currently too annoying, so I decided to use another one.
