Can this be implemented on this new post-add-on apocalypse version?
I've tried {DD-MM-YYYY} in Template Text, but this didn't work.

However:
The add-on does nothing on its addons.mozilla.org page.
It just fails without an error message.
IMHO, this is significant, because many people will test the add-on immediately after installing it.
Suggestion:
If the user is currently on a website where the add-on doesn't work:
Please show an error message when the user clicks on the context menu entry, or remove / gray out the context menu entry.
This add-on grays out its icon and shows the tooltip "Save Page WE - cannot be use with this page" on any addons.mozilla.org page:
