by Firefox user 12452942, 7 years agoNo longer working after FF 58.0.1. Youtube was pausing somewhere between 0:00 and 0:03 and I did the rather unpleasent detective work of selectively disabling firefox add-ons, one at a time, and I found the culprit. After disabling this add-on the problem dissapeared....but then the video stopped anyway because of the big NASTY "Before you continue" pop-up in the middle of the screen :|

The add-on generally works well. However, in some situations I need to turn it off. For example: sometimes, not always, when I want to scroll through search results, the add-on removes the scroll bar and you cannot even scroll using the mouse wheel. I have not found a pattern yet.
Since the add-on contains only CSS and no script, I fiddled around with Stylus and came up with the following CSS that works for me:
-----------------------
#lb
{
display: none !important;
}
html
{
overflow: auto !important;
}
ytd-popup-container
{
display: none !important;
}
iron-overlay-backdrop{
display: none !important;
}

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 16390481, 4 years agoAfter being plagued by the Google consent dialog every time I opened it for the past month this was a game changer. Great I thought but then found that it disabled the side scroll bar and some of the button links ( Settings, Any Country, Any Time etc). If I still want to use Google usefully in Firefox, I have to accept the consent dialog. Sad - hope it is fixable.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Rulatir, 5 years agoPermissions requirements of this plugin are difficult to justify. "Access your data for all websites"? Why? It is only supposed to do anything on google and youtube pages. "Download files and read and modify the browser's download history"? WHY? "Monitor extension usage and manage themes"? WHY? "Access browser tabs"? WHY, WHY, WHY?
