- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15210312, 5 days agoit was touted as something that integrates into the browser, it does NOT. it was advertised as something that translates websites, it does NOT. you'd assume it'd be good enough for basic translations, but strike three you're OUT!

A barra de tradução não aparece? - Rated 2 out of 5by Joseph, a month agohad better hopes since its coming directly from mozilla, quite disappointed though. Compared to the old google translate, this is miles away. A lot of hugely used language like chinese etc is not available. It also does not support auto-detect etc.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Skitburd, 2 months agoIt's clear that this is being worked on still, but at this time, non-European languages are not supported. It's baffling to me that Catalan is being worked on ahead of Japanese

Simplismente a extensão nunca funciona! Decepcionante, não encontrei nenhuma opção de feedback nem de suporte ou relatório... - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15921191, 2 months agoSeems ok from a UX perspective, but seriously lacking in supported languages. Will become a viable alternative to cloud-based translation services once language support is on par, but it doesn't even cover the language I need to translate on a daily basis. You'll still need a backup translation extension installed for now, so I'd say give it a miss until they have much better language support.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17981559, 3 months agoPlease change the icon to use a language you actually support
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17976230, 3 months agoUses japanese character in the icon but cant translate japanese. The app is fine but that seems like a huge oversite
- Rated 2 out of 5by Arim, 3 months agoCe serait une super application si elle était fonctionnelle en français. Actuellement elle donne un vague aperçu du sens en inventant des mots, avec des phrases parfois incompréhensibles. Pas encore au niveau de Google.J'espère qu'elle va s'améliorer.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17958366, 3 months agoI understand, it's still in development so I won't complain about missing language support - that's natural and expected...But there is missing pretty elementary functionality.
For example, I open a page in german, click on a TRANSLATE button, wait few seconds until it's translated - and then I have to repeat this for each and every subpage / link I click at...Seriously?
Why there is no such thing as "always translate german" or "always translate this domain" (which honestly is a common sense and a typical use-case scenario of 99% of people).
I feel it's almost as if the developers of this extension had their common sense removed...Developer response
posted 3 months agoThere's an option in the bar to always translate the current tab which will automatically translate every page as you navigate - Rated 2 out of 5by MGJ Sakazaki, 3 months ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by ninthtale, 4 months agoThe description is misleading in that you *cannot* translate web pages, only blocks of copy/pasted text; it's much more convenient to paste a URL into google translate and navigate that way. But that aside, the extension isn't nearly as robust as many people need it to be. I know development is a long and grueling process, and I get that the point here is to maintain privacy protections (all local translation), which is great, but it's not nearly as much the app that it needs to be both in form and function.
Keep up the good work, though. - Rated 2 out of 5by Larwick, 6 months agoSorry but right now this is just slower, clunkier and less accurate than alternatives.
- Rated 2 out of 5by Ber, 6 months agoPas encore au point. Outre l'impossibilité de ne traduire qu'une partie de la page. l'Add-on impose une barre supplémentaire qui apparait intempestivement. Pourquoi ne pas l'avoir caché dans le clic droit ou dans la barre supérieure sous une seule icône comme d'autres extensions ?
J'attends une mise à jour pour régler ce problème invasif. - Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17847592, 6 months agoпотрясающе убогий переводчик. во времена засилья искусственного интеллекта ему удаётся строить предложения напрочь лишённые смысла или искажающие его до неузнаваемости. оценка двойка!

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15746433, 6 months agoLacks a button to alter settings. I turned off the intrusive bar for translation suggestions, now I can't turn it back on. Can't find the settings to select, which languages I want to translate.
Also, it's missing an icon for quick translation of highlighted text. - Rated 2 out of 5by Nightwolf, 6 months ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 17825527, 7 months agoLiefert schnelle Übersetzungen im Seitenlayout, Formulierungen grammatikalisch oft falsch, Satztrennung mangelhaft.
Sicher sinnvoll, wenn man nur einen generellen Überblick haben will, worum es geht. - Rated 2 out of 5by typolix, 7 months agoDer Benutzer 17823488 bringt es auf den Punkt, ich bin genau seiner Meinung: «Der Satzbau läst doch sehr zu wünschen übrig. Die Sprache sollte auch besser erkannt werden, alles in allem jetzt nichts umwerfendes. Ich bleibe bei DeepL ...»
