I tried checking the Documents[ ] checkbox, to filter just those, but I don't think downloadstar is seeing those other links at all.
- by Firefox user 14238997, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5If i could give it zero stars, i would. So, I added 30-something links that i needed, the first one failed after a while, and nothing else downloaded.
So, the interface is poor. It is hard to find the actual download button once you have selected something. There is no pending downloads page that exsits, or is easily found.
Also, this is not a download manager, which kind of defeats the purpose, when you can select *n* links from a page.
It's half baked, and even though it's free, it's barely worth the dough.
- by Void2258, 3 years agoRated 1 out of 5Lacks the ability to follow links, for example from a picture gallery. This makes it useless for the most common usecase, since 99% of sites have the items you want to mass-download behind links, not directly embedded in the page.
