Please, port the addon to 36.0.
I'm suffering without it.

Far the best I've ever tried Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Whereas many readers forces you to register (feedly not to mention it) or doesn't keep old feeds stored, this one is doing what we ask for a rss reader, and in a great manner: no artifices, interface is simple to use but also very pleasant.
what to ask more?.. source code opening? it also has it!
After trying other add-ons, because it wasn't compatible anymore with latest FF, I can say this one fit my needs the best and could get it finally working using 2.0.3 version on github!
should update version on FF with this one too!

Best RSS feed tool I've found Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Great feed reader. The dev version is a work in progress but is currently the only one that works. I've been using this for years and can't imagine firefox without it.

Needs an Update Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Best damn RSS Feed ever, the other ones can't compare. Someone really needs to update this addon, if the maker can't keep up with updating it then if someone can fix the issues with it. The 'Developer' version found at the very bottom page is workable, but has few issues. I love this addon so much and I don't want to abandon it, in fact, I can't find any addon that works like it. :/ Just fix the addon, don't need to add any new features, don't need to make it look cool either, I just want it to be working properly again.

Can confirm that the dev version is working. Only problem now is that the feeds are only showing one column, not multiple (3 or 4 per row.)

as of Firefox 36.0 it's broken. the left hand side tab that lists the urls can no longer be clicked on or updated. downgraded back to version 35.1 and it's working again. I tested this on another computer same effect.

Brief favorites suddenly gone Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Hi there.

Firstly I must thanks for this useful addon.

Until yesterday Brief was just fine. Today, after opening FF 28.0 with Brief 1.7.2 (no update is shown) all feeds that I had favorited just disappeared. All of them! How can I get back that data?

Regards

Entwicklerversion in deutsch Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Ab wann kann man mit einer deutschen Entwicklerversion rechnen?

Sehr gut gelungengener übersichtlicher Reader. Alles ist gut lesbar und man hat einen schnellen Überblick auf seine Feeds.
Danke dafür.

Development version in German

When can I expect a German developer version?

Very good clearer Reader. Everything is easy to read and you have a quick overview on his feeds.
Thank you for that.

1.7.3 is not working, but beta version 2.0b3 (you can download it at the bottom of the page) works perfectly. So my mark is to the beta version.

So glad Brief is up to par again. The beta updates are great. I'd been using the fork Digest for a while but it was abandoned and is now pretty broken. The only thing I'd like to see different with Brief is the icon being smaller/grey when no there's no new feeds. Then turn orange with the counter when there is. But that's not a problem. Thanks for everything!

Love Brief! Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Brief is a fantastic add-on -- I'm so grateful to the developers for maintaining it! It's so much simpler to use than any other feed reader. The new beta version released yesterday (2.0b3) has fixed any issues I had with feeds not updating after the last Firefox version, and I love the new design! It looks great and is more user-friendly than the stable 1.73 version (why it's the stable version when it doesn't work as well is beyond me). My only suggestion would be to let users choose their own default view -- currently the default is to view full articles, but the options should allow the selection of the default view. I love the way it's possible to toggle between views and how options are remembered for each individual folder and feed. However, without the option to select the default, it's a little unfriendly. It only took me a couple of minutes to go through all my folders and choose my views, but it would take me *forever* to go through each individual feed. Luckily for me, I don't view them individually, but I'm sure some people do. I've still given 5 stars since this wasn't a real issue for me, but it's worth noting for others...

Beta Version Fixed Old Problems but need to MERGE old squlite databases Rated 5 out of 5 stars

love Brief, longtime user, but when latest 1.73 version was not letting me add new feeds (I could subscribe but Brief didn't update them) and reinstalling did nothing I tried the beta version which seems to be GREAT but there is one problem. I have saved a lot of favorite posts in my old brief. They didn't transfer in the upgrade. So I replaced my brief.sqlite with the old one to get back my old saved pages and that worked BUT I also lost all my unread "new" donwloaded pages and Brief won't restore them upon refresh. Need to know if there is a way to MERGE old brief.sqlite file with a new one in cases where the old info doesn't transfer to the new version. A total replace makes you lose all new downloads. Maybe a new sort of sqlite import feature would work? When you have years of saved stuff you don't want to lose it. Thanks! (also is there a new support site working? the old one is mostly 2013 and earlier) thanks!

Love it, but what a horrible layout on the new (test) version Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I love this extension despite the fact I've been using for over a year the Digest one since I was finding too much issues on Brief. Now Digest doesn't seems to work and I came back to Brief and... What a HORRIBLE layout the one of the test version! Thankfuly the 1.7.3 still works on the new Firefox 35 version, otherwise... Please DON'T change so much Brief!
