by Marlen, 2 years agoSoooo nice! I'd been using Keepass(-> X -> XC) for years, and Bitwarden is _so_ much better.
Everything just works perfectly, first try!
I even found out that it can auto-fill secret questions for me! You just need to add a custom hidden field, and set the "name" to the "label" of the secret question, and it even auto-fills the correct question!
I wrote this review after using Bitwarden for 6 months, and I'm still this happy.
I even went so far as to subscribe, so that I can share passwords with other people for work.

Here's the error, using 'chrome' in the javascript as a direct reference.
/******/ (function() { // webpackBootstrap
/**
* This script handles injection of the FIDO2 override page script into the document.
* This is required for manifest v2, but will be removed when we migrate fully to manifest v3.
*/
(function (globalContext) {
if (globalContext.document.contentType !== "text/html") {
return;
}
const script = globalContext.document.createElement("script");
script.src = chrome.runtime.getURL("content/fido2-page-script.js"); - Rated 5 out of 5by eboye, 2 days ago
- Rated 2 out of 5by ChristophK, 2 days agoPasskey support in Firefox is broken, which locked me out of my accounts. This is a known bug that does not seem to trigger much response or an emergency update, which does not inspire great confidence :(

- Rated 2 out of 5by Andre1ch, 4 days agoI noticed the browser was starting to slow down significantly. Through a process of elimination, I concluded it was due to this add-on. Rolling back to version 2025.6.1 solved the problem.

Any Chromium based browsers somehow work just fine though 🙄 - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19600203, 5 days ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Firefox user 15687702, 7 days agoGood concept, really stupidly, incompetently, and defectively executed much of the time. For instance, Firefox plug in does not seem to be auto syncing.

- Rated 3 out of 5by Alfredo8, 9 days agoWorks great for filling, saving, and managing my passwords, but it causes lag when typing in many websites. I've tested with and without the Bitwarden extension enabled, and whenever I have it enabled there is a noticeable performance drop.
- Rated 1 out of 5by BuppyJam, 9 days agoLatest version makes CPU temps go right up. Use version 2025.6.1 for now.

Making this account to write this. Saved my password in notepad, hahah - Rated 3 out of 5by S0m3f00l, 12 days agoDear bitwarden extension devs. As a paid subscriber to your service..... Please stop adding useless bloat to this app. You are stepping on your own two feet. Go work on something else. Stop the BS enshitification of bitwarden.
