- Rated 1 out of 5by zugu, 3 months agoI recently switched from Chrome and I was expecing something similar to the tab grouping feature in Chrome, since this Firefox extension is so popular and comes with the recommended tag. Instead, I got a horribly unintuitive tab grouping experience, with tabs hidden god knows where.
This one is a tab hiding extension, not a tab grouping extension. - Rated 1 out of 5by alligator768, 3 months agonot sure how this is even supposed to work. when i add a tab to a new group, FF will immediately hide that tab and i can't access it. Until this app is updated, ignore it
- Rated 1 out of 5by dataharvester, 3 months agoInstalled and immediately added all of my open tabs to a hidden group, each of which requires several separate clicks to unhids manage or move to another group. Not visible from the extension manager, options hidden and unintuitive. Really shoudl be a basic browser functionality but not worth installing this even as an interim solution

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14636985, 4 months agoI love it. Took me a few minutes to figure it out especially connected to container tabs, but I cannot do Firefox without it now. Thank you!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Graviloquence, 4 months agoBuggy and unintuitive. Any time I tried to use this add-on I thought I was going to lose all my tabs just trying to get them back out of a group.
- Rated 1 out of 5by malau, 4 months agoI wanted something that actually MOVED a tab into an actual group !! Not just tagged an open tab as being in a group !!!!!
With this extension, as soon as you have added the tab to a group, you think "I can close it now, it's in a group". NO IT ISN'T ! You close the tab and it's gone ! Pretty pointless extension !
Totally doesn't do what it's name implies !!!!! - Rated 5 out of 5by snek, 4 months agoThe backups of this addon saved me all my tabs when the shitty Firefox 127 update decided to nuke my whole history/open tabs etc without a way to restore it. Just trusty old STG churning out backups which I could restore from. Just for that the 5 stars are justified, but on top of that it also is a very useful addon.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Andreas, 4 months agoGreat add-on. Coming from chrome it takes a bit of getting used to, as it isint as polished and intuitive. I really do only have one problem with it tho:
For some reason you cant specify where the backups folder is placed. It just defaults to where firefox's downloads folder is. And i dont want this backupfolder to be in my downloads. plz fix. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18451857, 4 months ago

- Rated 2 out of 5by Pal1ndrome, 4 months agoWhy does it need permission to "access your data for all websites"? A tab organizer shouldn't need access to my passwords I am typing to a website.

- Rated 5 out of 5by DeepDive9984, 4 months agoIf you have more than five tabs open or more than two windows to separate your tabs thematically, do yourself a favor and install this add-on. If you're a keyboard shortcut lover, set them up and enjoy the organization of your tabs taken to the next level.

It allows me to create groups like in Chrome, but unlike Chrome, these simple tab groups replace the all the previous tabs you have open (when you switch to a different group).
Other extension open them in a new window and load them all, which I don't want, I mean I have groups with 1000+ tabs in them and loading so many can crash weaker computers or cause certain websites to block you.
Others like Chrome open the new tab group in the same window making it cluttered and unorganized.
Your ungrouped tabs are not lost when switching to a group, but I still recommend creating a group for them, just call it 'casual' or 'random'.
And unlike new windows or Chrome tab groups the 'vacation' or 'job hunting' group you weren't supposed to be looking at at work can be quickly switched to/from and perfectly hidden.
I was afraid it doesn't have backup options, but thankfully it does.
This plugin and Download Manager (S3) made it so I can pretty much switch over to using Firefox instead of Chrome, and that's pretty huge. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 17846056, 5 months ago
