Πολιτική απορρήτου του YourThreads
YourThreads από YourThreads
YourThreads keeps track of roleplay threads on Tumblr. It runs entirely inside your own browser. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server belonging to YourThreads for anything to be sent to.
The short version
Everything YourThreads knows stays on your computer. None of it is transmitted to the developer or to anyone else. There is no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and nothing is ever sold or shared.
What the extension stores
All of this is kept in the browser's local extension storage on the computer you are using:
- the Tumblr posts you have chosen to track, and what the extension has worked out about them: whose turn each thread is on, when it last moved, and whether it is queued, archived, or saved for later
- the Tumblr blogs and characters you have set up, including your own blog names
- notes you write about threads, blogs, and partners
- your settings
This storage is not synced. It does not follow you to another computer or another Firefox profile, because it is never uploaded anywhere.
What the extension reads
While you are on www.tumblr.com, YourThreads reads the content of the page and asks Tumblr for information about your threads, using the Tumblr session you are already logged into. It reads posts and their reblog trails, blog names, post links, and blog avatars. It does not read your Tumblr inbox, your asks, or your private messages.
What is sent, and where
The only network requests YourThreads makes are to Tumblr itself (www.tumblr.com and api.tumblr.com), asking for information about your own blogs and the threads you track, with your own logged-in session. Tumblr's handling of those requests is covered by Tumblr's own privacy policy. Nothing is sent to the developer. There is no server, no database, no account system, and no third party involved.
Getting your data out, and deleting it
From the extension's toolbar popup, "Export backup" saves a complete copy of your data to a file, and "Delete all data…" erases it from the browser. Removing the extension from Firefox also removes its storage. Because nothing was ever uploaded, there is no copy anywhere else.
