TabFiler από bensh
Close a tab, keep the page. TabFiler reads each tab's title and files it into the right bookmark folder automatically — so you can close tabs without losing anything. Fully local, no accounts, no tracking.

Σχετικά με την επέκταση
TabFiler is for people who keep too many tabs open "just in case."
Instead of manually bookmarking pages or letting tabs pile up, TabFiler watches for when you close a tab and files it into a bookmark folder based on what the page is about. Closing a tab becomes the signal that a page was worth keeping.
Everything runs on your own machine.
TabFiler has no servers, no accounts, and collects no data - your bookmarks stay as normal Firefox bookmarks under Bookmarks Menu → TabFiler.
HOW IT WORKS
- Keywords in a page's title decide its folder (Android, iOS, Security, and so on - all editable).
- Domain rules let you send whole sites to a category e.g. anything from kubernetes.io goes to your Kubernetes folder, regardless of the page title.
- When several categories match, the one higher in your priority list wins.
- You can test any title live and reorder priorities in Settings.
FEATURES
- Files pages automatically when you close a tab (or on load, or per-category).
- A grace period lets you cancel or undo a save you didn't mean to keep.
- Skips search-engine results pages by default (they're rarely worth keeping).
- Smart duplicate handling that only ever touches TabFiler's own folders.
- A "Filed" overview showing everything saved, grouped by folder, with one-click open.
- Re-sort filed pages with your current rules after you tweak them.
- Deterministic, colour-blind-considerate category colours.
- Back up and restore your rules and settings as a file.
PRIVACY
TabFiler collects and transmits nothing. It uses your tabs (to read titles) and your bookmarks (to save pages), entirely on your own device.
No analytics, no network calls.
