Oathglass is an offline semantic redline desk for people who need to understand how the meaning of a policy, agreement, procedure, or set of terms moved between two revisions.

Paste or import two plain-text documents, choose an analysis rule pack, and Oathglass separates the text into clauses before examining actors, obligation strength, permission and prohibition, conditions, exceptions, deadlines, scope language, and defined terms. It aligns related clauses even when their wording has been reorganized, assigns an explainable impact score, and gives every result a concise rationale. Filters isolate obligation, condition, deadline, definition, and scope changes without hiding the original language.

Definition trails show when a changed definition may affect clauses that reference that term elsewhere. A conflict pass flags potentially opposing obligations inside either revision. Projects can be saved in the current Firefox profile and reopened later. A self-contained HTML report can be exported for review or handoff. A bundled sample demonstrates the complete workflow without requiring user documents.
