I've put 1 star for this add-on because it doesn't work for me. I am using Firefox 68.0 on macos Mojave 10.14.5.
I am asked to log in, and open a page for the login. I'm logging in. And then, I go to another page and I want to test the add-on functionality, and it asked me for the login. If I click again, then I see my Notion workspace, but doesn't do anything. Everything I click on the Notion Add-on I keep seeing the "Please Login".
Doesn't matter if I close firefox, or uninstall/reinstall the add-on, it keeps showing me the "Please Login" screen.
I've tried in Chrome, and there it works without any problems.

So until I cannot see that this add-on works, for me it is not useful at all on firefox, therefor the one star.

Hi! Do you have third-party cookies disabled? If so, you may need to add an exception for notion.so in your Firefox settings. We use a cookie to track whether you're logged in, and it registers as a third-party cookie because the extension's active domain is a moz-extension:// URI and not http://notion.so.

To add an exception for the Web Clipper:

1. Open Firefox Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Manage Permissions
2. Add "notion.so"
3. Click "Save Changes." (This step is important! Your preferences won't be saved otherwise.)

I have the same problem that don´t login to Notion. What I did was login into Notion in a no container tab, and starts working. It`s not the ideal, but at least works for now.

It's okayish, it doesn't capture everything perfectly, something like chatgpt etc. Obsidian web clipper works fineee.

Doesn't let me log in. It redirects me to the Notion log in page but after I log in nothing happens.

At Firefox it was not working well with Containers, the addon is redirecting to new tab (without added to any container) when switched back to a container (Personal) where notion website is logged in successfully but addon is not able to login to notion website

It would be awesome if I can customize options on the saving...like I want the rating section visible in my clipper from my custom database or other area rather than the fixed - Add to , Property and Workspace.

you can't choose how you want the page to be saved, there is no option for bookmark, mention etc. It copies the whole body of a page. That's a shame, it could be really useful

The plugin has not been working properly when there is more than one container. The extension keeps asking for login even after being logged into Notion.

Doesn't work - it simply won't login, even when I have allowed cookie permissions in my browser settings. Possibly doesn't play nicely with Firefox's Multi-Account Containers

Works sometimes with varying results ranging from useless to somewhat decent—par for the course for an extension that's going on 4.5 years without an update. Even the Chrome extension is woefully outdated with the last release in 2022... Kind of embarrassing at this point given Notion's growth these past few years & how useful a tool like this is to their product.

Unfortunately, I need to fix the functionality with Firefox containers.

A quick (and permanent) way to resolve this is to log in directly to the extension or via OAuth.

For those who are having problems logging in using a container session, open a window without a container selected and you can log in there.

The extension works but it eventually broke all of firefox for me. Some websites wouldn't load, some buttons on websites wouldn't execute throwing an error in the console "Permission denied to access property {insert property name}" As soon as I disabled this extension everything worked again. I know this is an issue with firefox but this is the only extension that has caused that error.
