Hi All,

With the pending demise of Mixer, MQS is also being discontinued.
I'd like to Thank all of you for supporting this project and provide any feedback that has allowed me to improve both the project itself and my understanding of supporting such community platforms.
I look forward to exploring new opportunities in the near future.

With that being said, I'd like to draw attention to certain events revealed prior to Mixer's announcement.

Being a black developer within a corporate enterprise [by day], I fully empathise with the general feelings of anger and disappointment when a colleague(s) can display such ignorance and disrespect towards anyone with little to no repercussions.

I'd also like to express my support for all of those speaking up about sexual harassment and other inappropriate conduct. It's appalling that there can be people who appear to be as decent & trustworthy with the ability to bring masses together, all the while repeatedly commiting such despicable acts - such actions can destroy any peace and joy experienced within a community and instil a mistrust of others, with potentially dire consequences.

While the issues touched upon are isolated to a single platform of the content creation industry, such issues are wide-spread throughout the world... while we're unlikely to see any changes overnight, if we continue to stand up & speak out against any injustice - whether witnessed or experienced first-hand - we may yet still forge a future to be proud of.
2020 has been a difficult year thus far, but I remain ever-hopeful that things will improve as time goes on - and we all come out of the other side of these challenges more accepting and respectful of one another.
