Forward any download to your local download manager



QDM Integration automatically intercepts every download you start in Firefox and sends the download URL to a local QDM server running on your computer. The download is cancelled in the browser, so your files are never saved by Firefox – they are handed off to Quantum Download Manager.

1. You click a download link (or a page triggers a download).
2. The extension instantly cancels the download in Firefox.
3. The full URL is sent as a JSON POST request to: http://127.0.0.1:8421/download
4. Quantum receives the URL and handles the download.

• The extension only requests the downloads permission to intercept and cancel downloads.
• It does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data – all communication is with your own local server.
• No external analytics, no tracking, no hidden calls.

If you encounter issues, please ensure Quantum is running and accessible. The extension relies entirely on it to function.
