Lunefetch is a free, open-source download manager for Firefox desktop.

The extension detects supported HTTP and HTTPS downloads and hands their URLs to the locally installed Lunefetch application through Firefox Native Messaging. It supports reliable downloads, pause and resume, download queue management, destination and filename hints, batch download selection, and configurable site and file rules.

The extension does not access or transmit cookies, Authorization headers, referrers, request bodies, passwords, or other browser credentials. If Lunefetch is unavailable or a handoff fails, the original Firefox download is preserved.

This extension requires the Lunefetch desktop application and its native messaging host. It is intended for Firefox desktop and does not support Firefox for Android.
