Works alright. Used to be able to download thumbnails for videos, but the download icon for this doesn't appear anymore

the extension stopped previous week because instagram has made a change on own structure. I fixed the problem on version 3.1.5

Does not work and requests access to personal data....

The extension doesn't request personal data. to place a download button on instagram we need to "instagram permission" otherwise Firefox doesn't let the extension to change website document.

The extension ask you to give permission to reach instagram.com when you click the extension icon on top-right corner of the browser window. It is because of firefox security. The users must give permission after the extension installed.

which version did you use? I fixed the last problem at version 2.0.2 of the extension. The extension might stop working sometimes due to instagram changes on their structure or any changes that are only active in some countries that i couldn't reproduce. Please check with version 2.0.2 of the extension
