Surfaced helps you notice when a quick check-in turns into deep, automatic scrolling.

Instead of blocking websites or interrupting your flow, Surfaced adds a calm depth cue: once you scroll farther than intended, it shows a subtle reminder at the bottom of the page.

What Surfaced does

• Lets you choose a reminder threshold measured in screens
• Shows follow-up reminders at 2× and 3× your threshold
• Lets you customize the first reminder text
• Supports per-site disable and per-site threshold overrides

Why it feels different

Surfaced is designed to be gentle. It does not lock pages, force timers, or turn browsing into a guilt-driven productivity exercise.

How depth is measured

Surfaced tracks cumulative scroll distance rather than relying only on a simple page-position check. That makes it more reliable on many modern feed-like pages and single-page apps.
