origin is a minimal, privacy-first clipboard that lets you seamlessly transfer text, links, photos, and files between your computer, phone, or any other device in seconds.
No account, signup, or login is ever required. Everything is temporary and expires automatically.
• Right-Click Sharing: Send any highlighted text, image, hyperlink, or entire web page straight to origin with a right-click.
• Quick Popup: Click the toolbar icon to quickly compose a note, attach up to 20 files or images, or grab the current tab’s URL.
• Instant QR Codes: Generate a QR code right inside the extension to open your clip on a mobile phone immediately without typing.
• Retrieve Anywhere: Enter your short 6-character code in the popup or on origin.ayanbhaumik.in to fetch your content.
• Auto Expiration: Choose how long your clip stays active (from 10 minutes up to 24 hours). Clips self-destruct once expired.
• Optional Protection: Support for PIN codes and burn-after-read for sensitive transfers.
• Recent History: Quickly re-access or copy links for your last 5 sent codes.

Origin sends text, images and files between devices via a short code to origin.ayanbhaumik.in. To test: open the extension popup, paste text and click Send to get a 6-character code, then enter that code under Retrieve. No account or login is needed. The extension only communicates with origin.ayanbhaumik.in. Source is plain JS, with no build step or minification.
